PA6
Polyamide 6 / Engineering Plastics
PA6 should be used if a lightweight engineering plastic is required to withstand high impact and stress. It has better aesthetic appearance than PA 66 due to its lustrous finish and is easier to be dyed. It is an ideal choice for applications in the automotive, industrial and military industries. It is not ideal, however, for applications that are exposed to water at high temperatures due to its higher water absorption and lower heat deflection rate than PA 66.
Product Properties
1. High mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness and toughness.
2. Good fatigue resistance.
3. High mechanical damping ability.
4. Excellent wear resistance.
5. Good electrical insulating properties.

PA66
Polyamide 66 / Engineering Plastics
Nylon 66 should be used if a part is required to be exposed to higher temperatures. Additionally, its stiffness and good tensile and flexural modulus make it an ideal material for applications that need a long-term repeating working condition. Typical application parts include: friction bearings, radiator caps and tire ropes.
Product Properties (compared to PA6)
1. Slightly less moisture absorption ability.
2. Better wear resistance.
3. Better chemical resistance to acids.
4. Higher heat deflection temperature.

PP
Polypropylene / Engineering Plastics
Polypropylene is a thermoplastic resin which can be widely applied in various products and purposes through adopting different formulas or modified by using additives. PP has the advantage of ease of processing and low cost, which can satisfy different market demands. Therefore, it has become a very competitive plastic product compared with other expensive resins.
Product Properties
1. Low cost and ease of molding.
2. Light specific weight and low water absorption.
3. Durability in appearance.
4. Chemical stability.
5. Versatile use on many parts.
